Shelter Roofing did a great job replacing the tile roof on our home (lift & reset). The crew was on time, knowledgeable and cleaned up at the of each day. The project manager , Rudy, was available to answer questions and explain the … More process. Rudy was a very good resource to us.The onsite foreman, Louis was personable, kept the crew moving forward and was committed to a job well done. It was a surprisingly smooth experience. Thanks to the entire team at Shelter Roofing.

I recently had the pleasure of working with SHELTER ( Solar company) for a solar installation, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Their team is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, demonstrating a high level of … More intelligence and expertise throughout the entire process. With their extensive experience, they were able to handle every aspect of the installation smoothly and efficiently.I highly recommend them for anyone considering solar installation. Their combination of expertise, experience, and affordability makes them the best choice in the industry.

Hercules always felt like they had my job as their primary concern. Communication was good. Cleanup was good. Workers were always on time and cleaned up every day. Always had a positive attitude. Never felt like they were just running me … More as “one more job “ I truly believe them when they said they stood behind their work. Rudy was a great project manager. Always responded and treated me and the job with respect.

Danial and his crew did an outstanding job replacing two flat roof sections on my house. They were professional, organized and very attentive to keeping their work areas clean. Daniel took photos of each stage of the roofing process and … More showed them to me which I really appreciated.Rudy was very professional when telling me about the completed work that was done.I highly recommend Shelter Roofing and Solar. Their prices are lower than others that gave me estimates and thequality of their work was excellent.Thank you everyone at Shelter Roofing and Solar !!

Shelter did a fantastic job on our solar. They used a cutting edge approach to make the panels ride super low profile against the surrounding shingles. Looks ultra modern, which fits the vibe of our home. We’ve had many neighbors stop and … More ask us how we did it! Their team was professional and did great work. Highly recommended!

Short version: Highly Recommended. Top quality job and materials, trustworthy, and real value for the price.Longer version:1. This was a complete reroofing job, removing 2 layers of previous shingles, adding OSB/plywood, redoing vents, … More etc.2. From first contact to project completion, interactions were uniformly good. From initial consult to estimate, scheduling, and completion, we experienced no "switcheroos" or dropping the ball.3. Good communication - we did our research and screened and Shelter was willing and happy to come out more than once to scope out the work and answer questions/concerns.4. Office staff, estimators, project manager, onsite crew manager, all were uniformly friendly and responsive.5. Knowledgeable neighbors (from former roofing jobs on their own properties) observed the project in the works and were also impressed with the project team's work.6. Pricing came in at estimate - they weren't the lowest quote or highest quote, and through our due diligence we learned the right questions to ask to avoid surprises.7. Quality of product is top notch and demo/install work was excellent.8. They had a haul away for the demo and project work, and they spent up to an hour at the end of each day cleaning up, using a rolling magnet to collect any loose nails or metal - and with a Porta Potty onsite, no one needed to come inside.9. End result - we are very happy and also happy to provide a very positive review.Unsolicited tips and duggestions:1. Do due diligence before talking to any firm, and check out as many as you can - starting with personal referrals (folks in your circle you trust, such as insurance and real estate professionals, if they're willing to recommend), online reviews (Google, Yelp, and yes, Better Business Bureau).2. You can find a lot of checklists online that give you questions to ask - and if the firm won't take the time to answer them, why would you give them tens of thousands of your dollars to them? Since it's the roof over your head and the health and safety of those in your home, you should interview the firm just as you would if you were going to hire an employee.3. Anything with exposed beams/ceiling (such as a garage) will have a lot of dust, sediment, debris, etc. come through (your attic will also get a lot) - be sure to move stuff in such areas and tarp over that and any surfaces you don't want to spend time on cleaning up or are concerned will be damaged.

We were referred by a friend. We received 2 other quotes from large, impersonal companies. The process started with a knowledgeable, professional and friendly visit by their salesperson. The experience continued with a hard working and … More competent roofing crew who involved me with good communication as the project progressed. Finally, the solar installation crew stepped in and did an equally professional job. I have referred Shelter to 2 other friends and family.
